The Foundation Center for Social and Economic Investments (CISE) has been actively supporting social initiatives since 2004. Operating across Poland, with a strong presence in the Łódź province, CISE focuses on civic engagement, social economy, and NGO development. CISE runs the Social Activity Incubator, empowering informal groups by granting them legal personality, enabling them to apply for grants and implement social projects. The Incubator also provides legal, educational, and strategic support, fostering a safe environment for grassroots initiatives. Through collaborations with NGOs, local governments, and community organizations, CISE promotes social entrepreneurship and active citizenship. As far as the CIVIC_IN project is concerned, CISE is responsible for the coordination of the project consortium, communication and project management. It also coordinates the Incubation phase for informal groups.

The University of Lodz Center for Social Innovations (CEIN) is an interdisciplinary unit dedicated to developing innovative solutions to social challenges. By bridging science with society, culture, and business, CEIN fosters collaboration betweenn between researchers from various disciplines of the humanities and social sciences and representatives of the external environment. The Center plays a key role in promoting the University’s social responsibility. Through an interdisciplinary approach, CEIN drives social development and implements practical solutions to pressing societal issues. In the project, CEIN is responsible for its coordination.

IASIS has been actively working in Social Inclusion, Mental Health, and Education since 2005, always placing people at the center of its initiatives. With 18 years of experience, the organization focuses on psychosocial support, combating social exclusion, providing counseling services, and creating equal opportunities for all. A key initiative is CONNECT YOUR CITY (CYC) youth centers, which empower young people (16-30) by helping them develop personal and professional skills while fostering active citizenship. Over the past seven years, IASIS has established seven youth centers, offering a safe space for young people to connect, grow, and engage as active European citizens. The contribution of IASIS NGO to the project lies in the development of the necessary guidelines that will serve as a blueprint for all dissemination activities. Moreover, IASIS is responsible for turning insights from Project Results 1-6 into clear, practical policy recommendations that support a more citizen-centered Europe.

In 2017, ACA launched the Regional Community Centers program in the North-Plain region, funded by OSIFE, to provide financial and professional support to civic organizations across three counties. Through various grants and training initiatives, they have supported around 210 organizations, helping them grow and strengthen their impact. From 2021-2022, ACA coordinated the Civic Europe capacity-building program, in partnership with the Dialogue Association, where they were trained by MitOst using the Toolbox toolkit—a resource designed to help organizations develop strategies, visions, and communication. Beyond structured programs, ACA also hosts and supports informal groups, fostering connections and ensuring their growth. The organization runs its community space in a participatory way, empowering grassroots initiatives and reinforcing civic engagement. Regarding its contribution to the project, ACA is responsible for the coordination of the exchange of best practice in support of informal groups

SSF is a non-governmental organization, funded in 2009 in Madrid (Spain). SSF’s mission is to contribute to the social and labour inclusion and the well-being of young and adult people in situations of vulnerability, such as migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, ethnic minorities, LGTBI+, people with disabilities, low skilled people, unemployed or people in a situation of inactivity. To do so, SSF provides legal counselling and international protection, career guidance and job counselling, training and awareness raising activities to the aforementioned groups.

SSF’s objectives are:

  • To promote the social and labour inclusion of all people following the principle of non-discrimination.
  • To promote equality, respect for pluralism, tolerance, justice and responsibility at all levels.
  • To promote social cohesion and social coexistence between people and different societies.
  • To defend the right to education and freedom of teaching.
  • To promote the social and political participation of all people.
  • To cooperate in the development and welfare of the most disadvantaged population in the countries of the Global South. In this project, SSF handles the organization of the debates.

Partnership for Transformation and Community Action is a nongovernmental and non-profit organization active in the field of community development in Romania. Through its activities, Foundation PACT intends to contribute to sustainable development of communities through promoting and supporting local and regional initiatives, partnership and social responsibility. Foundation PACT is based in Bucharest and mainly works in rural and urban communities from Southern Romania providing services of community facilitation, training, consultancy and small grants. The flagship programme “Learning, Participation, Trust” aims to contribute to the empowerment of marginalized groups, so they could actively participate in the life of their communities. To reach this goal, the programme works with community–based organisations or informal groups located in communities in the Southern region of Romania who represent the interests of marginalized or disadvantaged groups and aim to contribute to the development of their community. Foundation PACT orchestrates the Consultation and Engagement at national level(IDEATHON).
