We believe they are the future of Europe. We are seeking for a positive and optimistic answer to the question: “How the future of citizens-centred Europe could look like?”. This goal will be achievable through our key activities:

Why CIVIC INCUBATOR?
“Democracy is about the richness of participatory practices, effective civic engagement and respect for democratic standards, fundamental rights and the rule of law. Thus, a strong and enabling civic space is critical for the resilience of our democracies” as stated in the Forthcoming Defence of Democracy package.
The project idea arose from observation that more and more people who are active citizens, social activists or any other groups of people who choose to act for the benefit of others, decide not to formalize. The reasons for this phenomenon are different: bureaucracy, lack of support and knowledge, lack of need. Due to that fact, we have decided that it is necessary to find out what are the reasons behind these phenomena and how we can address, support and involve this growing group of citizens. In this respect, we consider that we have to investigate why and how informal groups are created.
